Theatre 1880's inaugural show consisting of new work that was created, written, directed and performed by the front of house staff of an iconic theatre in Waterloo.
Henri Matisse once said, "Creativity takes courage." Theatre 1880 is all about that. Creative people having the courage to create.
It all started as an idea and little by little, things started to fall into place and here we are! The pieces you are about to see are all created, written, directed, produced and performed by ushers, bar staff and box office staff of a beloved theatre in Waterloo.
This theatre has inspired us to collectively put together our talents, skills and resources to form a theatre company dedicated to celebrate the talents of its front of house team and creating new work that reflects what is being shown on the main stage of this iconic theatre we work in.
We sincerely hope you enjoy our inaugural show and thank you so much for your support!
